La Piscina

Agua, suspendida sobre el mar.

Una larga piscina de borde de piedra estirada entre pinos piñoneros, un pabellón de paja para comidas sin prisa y tumbonas a la sombra de parasoles de lino. Cada objeto que se ve aquí ha sido elegido personalmente por el propietario — un empresario franco-italiano formado entre Europa y Estados Unidos, hoy afincado en Roma. Las piezas se han buscado una a una, en gran parte a través de 1stDibs: faroles trenzados y una mesa de borde vivo de una galería de Viena, tumbonas escandinavas de teca encontradas en Copenhague, cerámicas y detalles de ratán enviados desde Palm Springs. Aquí no hay nada de catálogo — la piscina es simplemente donde la colección se encuentra con el agua.

La Oficina

El Jardín

Un jardín botánico sobre el mar.

Más que un jardín mediterráneo, los terrenos de Can Serenico son una verdadera colección botánica — diseñada y plantada por un paisajista profesional, algo realmente raro en Ibiza. Aquí conviven cientos de especies: pinos piñoneros y de Norfolk, palmeras de abanico y datileras, plataneros, higueras y olivos, chumberas, ágaves, yucas, plumerias, buganvillas, jazmines, adelfas, dragos, cícadas, helechos y hierbas aromáticas. Los caminos serpentean entre setos recortados, patios de grava y matorral hasta el mar y la silueta de Es Vedrà en el horizonte. Los atardeceres son aquí el final tranquilo del día; un Ford de época y una fila de tablas de surf esperan en la verja.
